Plant Care Essentials

💧

Watering

Most indoor plants prefer to dry out slightly between waterings. Always check the top 2–3cm of soil before watering. Overwatering is the most common cause of plant death.

☀ïļ

Light

Most plants need bright, indirect light. Avoid placing plants in direct harsh sunlight which can scorch leaves. North and east-facing windows are ideal for most indoor plants.

ðŸŒĄïļ

Temperature

Most tropical plants prefer temperatures between 18–26°C. Keep plants away from air conditioning vents and heaters. Avoid drastic temperature fluctuations.

ðŸŠī

Potting

Use a well-draining potting mix appropriate for your plant type. Ensure your pot has drainage holes. Repot when roots begin to circle the bottom or emerge from the drainage holes.

ðŸŒŋ

Fertilising

Feed your plants during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Reduce or stop feeding during winter when most plants' growth slows.

✂ïļ

Pruning

Remove dead or yellowing leaves promptly. Prune to shape and encourage bushy growth. Always use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears to avoid disease transmission.
